I dunno about ranking all of them but I think my top 3 are Bishop's, Real Ones, and Stay Frosty.

Starts off with a soft chorus, goes to a big epic intro/riff part, tight verse, chorus, etc.

The "if death is an appointment part" is this album's version of "Heavy metal broke my heart"

It's Church and Centuries are almost exactly the same song, just with less guitar, worse melodies, and no catchy sample

Other than the guitar riff and the word "Champions" it's going for a completely different mood, I think it's a decent song tbh

 

other than two of the things that make up the backbone of the song its completely different i agree

 

By this logic, Centuries is a rip of What a Catch which clearly isn’t true

 

I meant they both have guitar riffs and overly repeated words, but Champion is more chill, cool and aggressive, while Centuries is a fast, angry rocker

 

I still would say the last 4 songs are leagues below in quality compared to the first 6

Kind of wish Young And Menace and Champions had benefited from the reworking that the rest of the album did, because the other 8 are all fucking killer.

and i love every song on the album. if you were to ask me tomorrow i bet every song would be placed differently. my favorite tends to be whatever song im currently listening to.

 

Bishops unfortunately gets the shaft from me because by the time I get to it, I'm so pumped to press replay. It always takes me a while to click with a closer in the beginning as I always tend to continuously play the album. I love it a lot tho

I enjoy every song on the album, but this would be my ranking as of right now. However, like any other Fall Out Boy album, that could change tomorrow.

 

Does it bother anybody else that the line is "If you were church" instead of "If you were a church"? Always sounds weird to me.

 

the a is unnecessary so no. he's not saying if you were a church as in a building, he's saying if you were church as in the congregation
