I can see the comparison to Jack Johnson in his quieter vocals, but that is where the comparison ends. If anything, Bahamas sounds a lot like Jack Johnson jamming with the John Mayer Trio, which is fine by me.

If you can't hear vastly better songwriting in Bahamas than in Jack Johnson, I'm not sure I can help
