Anyone know the best time to buy flights outta the country? I wanna buy my best friend a ticket to India. It's not time sensitive bc I need to gather up the cash. So like best time and for when/how far in advance to get the best bang for your buck? I tried fiddling with settings and round trip tickets look like they'll cause 700+ no matter what

5-9 months in advance is the sweet spot. prices will also fluctuate based on popular tourism times.

but I didn't really like The Phantom Thread

 

I thought of Dylan during Phantom Thread when Alma mentioned how much she hated his rules and of course Colby with all the butter

 

I didn't do anything to James after him hating Dunkirk AND Baby Driver, so I think I can let you slide too

 

Baby Driver was a good movie that was treated like a great movie imo

for a second I thought you were trying to remember Ansel Elgort's name

 

I don't even know what to say about it. I just felt there were a lot of missed opportunities, we barely knew Alma, certain things are brought up as though they will have a huge bearing by the end of the movie but they don't really go anywhere, and most importantly: the crux of the entire movie felt weak to me and I just don't get what was so special about any of it

I love PTA and genuinely wanted to like this, too. it just didn't really work out like that this time

 

I think us not really knowing Alma was intentional because Reynolds didn't give a fuck about her as a person
