The Mount Eerie album's story is more interesting to me than the music itself, unfortunately. It's not bad, just not the kind of music I generally want to listen to.

No, it’s just because sonically it’s way different than you’re favorites, even your top 50 records. Nothing to be a offended about, it’s just like if someone who only listened to really chilled out acoustic music recommended someone Deafheaven or something.
