interesting addition of covet for this tour. But they were awesome last year when i saw them with ttng! hope the west coasters love this show

looks like they are adding a more diverse opener to all of the dates, feels like a decision made after the backlash but at the very least i can respect that they are trying, even if it should have been done without thought at first

I don't actively listen to any of these bands except Jetty Bones. When I went to buy tickets I had to order them over the phone (issues with Ticketweb online services) and the girl on the phone was a fan of Tiny Moving Parts. It made me smile.

 

I wish it was as easy as just fb messaging bands with women and adding them to a tour package. Of course the cycle has been rather endless but we can obviously an end in sight right? But in the current state of things a lot of the decisions behind tours are left out of the hand of artists. Obviously that doesn’t mean they don’t have some influence. But geez unless you’re totally certain a band or people apart of its team are specifically against booking diverse line ups or even trying to spark change it really be cool if we didn’t try to throw shade at them. I mean most band members are fighting to not be homeless, maintain stable relationships with loved ones, produce music they’re proud of while making random suits happy and of course maintain their health (physical and mental) through how rigorous touring can be.

P.S sometimes...on rare occasions... offers get extended and then declined...

 

tiny moving parts consistently has all dude tours. that shouldn't happen, mathematically. that's the whole point. because the math doesn't add up because of lack of opportunity, it is up to the bands and promoters in charge to try to change that. there is zero reason that a tour should have 12 men and no women playing on it

 

Chicago show sold out.. dang.

I will give this band some credit that they're at least trying to rectify not having a lineup with no women on it.
