Didn't T.I. and FOB do a song together that was supposed to on Paper Trail, but it never got released?

And when I say 'I'm sorry I'm late, I wasn't showing up at all'
I really mean 'I didn't plan on showing up at all'

Ouch. Y'know when you hear a song and some lines just punch you in the gut? Been feeling like that for a good while and then I hear this and it's like, fuck, these guys get it.

Personally it reminded me of the better parts of Bat III/Welcome to the Neighborhood, but I wouldn't expect the average Chorus user (or most people) to be familiar with those records lol

first impression is that this could be their best album. it's at least their best since FAD, which is the only album of theirs i've really loved. it totally nails the massive sound they've been gunning for but retains way more of the fun of pre-hiatus FOB.

I really enjoy how Church switches between 6/4 chorus/hook and 4/4 verses. was trying to count the opening lines in 4/4 and tripping up a ton before I realised what time signature it was in

    Things have changed.

Wish they'd release the tour dates already. Probably as soon as the album drops tomorrow night.

Patrick's lower register on Headfirst Slide is so, so good. What an incredible song.

I Don’t Care is an okay song, a bad track 2, and a god awful first single.

While Folie is my favorite album of theirs (and one of my favorite albums ever), I truly cant imagine any song on it being a huge hit

I've always really admired this band's willingness to take risks. There are a number of their peers that never really stretched their sound, but FOB's always pushed the envelope on what they could be. I remember hearing "This Ain't a Scene" when it dropped as a single, and thought it was such a departure from FUCT. And here they are now, still infusing new inspirations.

I guess it’s just because I don’t remember hearing anything in that style on the radio in that time period. It’s a huge, great, catchy song but I’m not sure it would have caught on
