Wow! Another slam dunk with a recommendation! I’m really glad you enjoyed it. One of my top ten records of 2016!
Shane Told of Silverstein highly praised these guys. I can’t wait for their new album this year.

  2. And I recommended you a dud !

I was assigned You, Me, And Everyone We Know- Some Things Don't Wash Out by @Rob Hughes

This was a band I had heard talked about a lot between Absolutepunk and here. For whatever reason, I had never listened to a song of theirs; I've been missing out!

The record was a fun, energetic record from front to back. It took the best parts of bands like My American Heart, Motion City Soundtrack and early Panic! At The Disco. The delivery of his vocals were reminiscent of MCS and PATD, and the inflection he would use reminded me of MAH.

It was hard not to pick almost every song as my favorite song on the record. The one misstep I found in the record is probably a hot take. I thought lyrically and musically, "The Next 20 Minutes" sounded like a NeverShoutNever song. I could see this being a hot take, and that it's probably a fan favorite. I feel like it didn't fit in well with the record, and threw the energy and rhythm off.

Thanks so much for the rec, and I can't wait to check out the rest of their music!

Favorite Songs: Livin' Th' Dream, Bootstraps, A Little Bit More

Thanks for checking, but apologies because I'm out for the foreseeable future due to some unforeseen circumstances and life situations. Sorry for leaving you dudes in limbo @BTDandFeelingThis and @bradsonemanband, was not my intention. Party on.

Well it's time to review albums recommended by the one and only @BTDandFeelingThis

Senses Fail – Let It Enfold You

«So rub me gently with the chainsaw». Oh what a line to start emo album from 00’s. Somehow I never listened to this album even though I was familiar with Senses Fail’s other records like “Still Searching” and “This Fire”. “Let It Enfold You” sounds younger, angrier and less overproduced than later records but it has one thing that made us like young bands like this. It has energy. It makes you wanna bang your head and tear down the walls and scream along. It’s emotional rollercoaster with some smart lines and great instrumental parts. If you are fan of 00’s emo but somehow never checked out this album (like me) than it is definitely a must-listen. And “A Rum Is For Drinking Not For Burning” is certified banger.

Silverstein - A Shipwreck in the Sand

Another record by big 00’s emo band. But unlike “Let It Enfold You” this record was made by already experienced and well-known band. The sound is polished but heavy, the hooks are catchy and the guitars are bone-crushing in a good metal way. It is also a concept album and that is always cool. Best song for me is “American Dream”.

I don’t know why but even though it’s a great album and hooks are stronger and the music is more professional but I liked LIEY better. A Shipwreck in the Sand is a smarter album but it lacks the crazy young garage band energy a little bit.

Both records are great and I feel like I will listen to them very often.

If you liked Shipwreck in the Sand, you should check out This is How the Wind Shifts if you haven't already. It's considered by a lot of people as their best album.
