Yeah I've just accepted them as 'his' band and now he seems to write the majority of the songs and everything so I guess that's why it doesn't bother me as much.

 

I get it though. Intelligence makes it hard to fight off the ego, and he's a phenomenal lyricist and songwriter.

Shout out to this song, particularly loving the phrasing in the lyrics today

"I kept your sweater, til the scent was gone

I never hear their new stuff until its recorded. I caught them randomly once in Toronto in 2011 and that will likely be the only time ever

I didn't like the new version of Tattoo at first, but now I fuckin' love it.

 

don't know if it was announced, but looks like the live album is coming to vinyl next month

 

They should've called it Summer Dogs instead
