Eh not feeling that trailer. Music choice is awkward.

 

That new Animus looks neat, more realistic than the previous versions in the games.

 

Probably too much to ask for an R rating.

 

I want people to glitch out and fuck up climbing in this movie, I want the true AC experience on the silver screen.

Has anyone played Bloodlborne? I saw it on sale at Target but don't know much about it.

 

You know Dark Souls? It's basically the same thing.

 

Holy fuck at chapter 8, 9, and 10 of Uncharted.

 

I have 100+ hours in Rust from a couple years ago, I loved that game but I played the old version before they completely rewrote it. Looks gorgeous now.

Many of us have, top 2 game of last year along with The Witcher 3. It's very challenging, but very well done and very rewarding. Beautiful gothic style environments and level design. It's a spiritual successor to the Souls games if you're familiar with them.

 

Best game of the decade. Play Bloodborne at any cost.

 

Just under 12 hours with Uncharted 4 and haven't quite finished yet. I am definitely in the final act though. I noticed enemy weapons do more damage to you as you progress in the game which I think is interesting. I have only found 30 of 109 treasures. They are a lot more well hidden this time. I have also apparently died 46 times now. I think a good 15-20 of those have been in the last couple chapters.

I am actually really pleased with the stealth mechanics. There was one section I was able to bypass a fight with a dozen enemies or so by sneaking around them.

 

Okay this final fight is pissing me off

 

Bad song choice aside (I posted about it in the AC movie thread) it looks great. Definitely gives the same vibes as the game.

 

@CobraKidJon Do you keep up with any SMITE players on YouTube? I recently subbed to FrostFangs and RayndayGaming, and funnily enough they're both also interested in Overwatch.

 

Was finally able to sit down with Uncharted 4 last night. Graphics are amazing. Only able to get to Chapter 3, really looking forward to spending my rainy Friday night diving back into this.

 

I'm in the second chapter and I've died like 5 times just rope swinging into the abyss... That statistic is not going to make nice reading for me haha

 

Gonna pick up Uncharted 4 and DOOM tomorrow. Should be a good weekend.

 

No idea Doom was out this week, crap. That's definitely going to be on the backburner until UC4 gets old.

 

Guys guys, UC4 is like...really good.

I'm on Chapter 6 or so and yeah, feels like the best UC yet. Gunplay is just great.

Sadly no but I do keep up with some of the pros that play Smite league on Twitch. The most notable being Weak3n and DMBrandon.

and it basically seems like all Smite players are super into Overwatch.

Bit of an update on my Dark Souls II experience:

I think I might like this game more than DS1. Which is bonkers because DS1 is kind of a masterpiece. Something about DS2 is just doing it for me even more. Just made it to the Iron Keep so I'm still not even halfway done and I've already sunk 15 hours in.

Also The Cure is great to listen to while playing Dark Souls with the dark and gothic vibes they both evoke.

 

mate, you're living well right now, haha. I was listening to The Head on the Door earlier after your post in The Cure thread.

 

It's weird because I just couldn't get to grips with Dark Souls 2 but had a great time with Dark Souls 3. Something about DS3 just clicked with me that didn't with 2.

I never played the first one but I intend to grab it at some point.

 

Made it to the third floor boss in Enter the Gungeon felt pretty good to make that jump when I was having difficulties clearing the first boss just a few runs ago.
