I just call them Target at this point. I call the rare regular Targets "Shitty Target".

    haha ya, it's crazy.

I would just love it if they ran through opposite of december, tear from the red, and you come before you.

My friend works HR for Target and says its hell

  5. Apparently I've been living a hollow Target existence for the past 24 years.

I always liked Target especially now that their trans inclusive policy is weeding out the bigoted idiots who shop there

People refuse to go to Walmart because of other people who shop there, and it's so stupid. Have fun paying more for your groceries while I pay like 3 bucks for a big ass box of cereal.

The difficult thing for me is how damn busy it is. I can go there at midnight and the place will be packed.

Target has better clothes, accessories, etc and Walmart has better priced groceries for sure.

Walmart just makes me sad. I usually only go there if I'm sick and need stuff haha

Same here. They only stock recent releases on Blu-ray. Everything else is DVD and it's so irritating.

What bothers me most about Walmart is probably the lighting. It feels so cold. Emotionally, I guess. Lol

Most of those DVDs are ours, hah. I can tell you from actual experience and numbers, when WM takes in BD, NO ONE buys them, seriously no one. I promise you. DVDs still sell like fuckin hotcakes

I will never set foot in a Walmart. Cannot support a place like that. Luckily they're not allowed in the city of Seattle and only in outskirts so I don't even have to try to avoid them.

    Older customer base, I think

It honestly kills me when I watch people watch a SD movie on an HDTV, I have no idea why people still hold onto it. I guess Blu Ray is just a collector thing now, kinda of a bummer.

Target is much more busy, imo. It's better now, ever since these dumb white moms have started boycotting them though.

I don't think it's that, I'd assume most people still hold onto their DVD players and just refuse to upgrade. At least Target is cool and stocks BD's, they're the real MVP's.

oh, totally. That's why we have a monthly fixture for a new Western show from the 60s and they sell great.

see above, it's old people who shop for video at WM. Younger folks, like us, shop on Amazon

it's age, the WM age is older than the Target age for sure. Best Buy slightly younger than Target, Amazon the youngest. The amount of BD sales per outlet directly correlates to that as well

It seems like Target has more Blu-ray than DVD though. I dunno, I assumed most people had made the jump.

I traded some UV codes and one of the ones I got ended up being SD and I was like whyyyy

I don't think I've ever redeemed any digital copy code I've gotten with a movie.

Target is the best for Blu-ray. Good selection, good sales, and they stock some really good ones at $5, $10, & $15

I went into a Whole Foods once and it blew me away. I bought a bar of handmade soap.
