Super excited for the Lancaster show. I'm like 20 minutes from that venue now so it'll be a good time

 

lol the firefly lineup is so so so so bad as it is every year, it really sucks that this is the closest major festival to me because it is so horrific

only 5 acts i'd want to see on the entire bill. kendrick, sza, JEW, lucy dacus, alex lahey

That lineup is so top-heavy it's unbelievable. I'd watch Eminem, Kendrick, The Killers, Lil Wayne, SZA, Foster the People, MGMT, Jimmy Eat World, and Flint Eastwood.

though if it'll make you listen to alex lahey (an act i think you will like) i'll listen to flint eastwood (a band i'm certain i won't like) :)

 

They're good - they're one of my favorite locals around here. I get more out of them from seeing them live than listening to them on record, but they're solid.

 

Firefly always puts all their money into the headliners. My gf wants to go to Firefly over Boston Calling solely because of AM... Kendrick & AM may be enough for me honestly.

 

firefly just gets acts that like, people with boring music taste like. alt pop is the worst genre.

You def should listen to Alex Lahey it's not what I was expecting at all and is super good

 

I'll add another voice to the chorus of Alex Lahey recommendations. I'm really hoping to see her this year, but based on the fests she's announced for already, I assume she'll do Lollapalooza, which I'll be out of town for this time.

Devastation on the Nation gets announced today.

Supposedly its Aborted, Psycroptic, Ingested, Disentomb, Arkaik, and Venom Prison, with Vale of Pnath and Signs of the Swarm playing select dates.

 

Slayer/Lamb of God/Anthrax/Behemoth/Testament

Santander Arena - Reading, PA - June 4th

 

This is a great tour but I don't know if I could sit through Slayer again. Easily one of the worst bands I've seen live

 

Slayer are cool but Id easily go just for LoG and Behemoth

 

I may got to this tour, but the crowds at these type of large metal shows are always awful without fail.
