Which is weird as this band is heavily influenced by Metallica, Pantera, Deftones, and such.

That would be amazing. The only album I don't really care for too much is Saturday Night but DE breathed new life into the band IMO and Koi No/Gore were really good too!

Nice! For me Ride the Lightning beats it out slightly. I just don't know how you get better than the first 4 tracks. What an opening punch! Ride the Lightning has my favorite guitar solo ever on it. Bell Tolls has maybe the coolest bass and opening ever and man, what a ballad Fade to Black is. That ending is so epic.

Huge Chevelle fan if that wasn't clear. They were my all time favorite before Thrice and SOTY forced their way into my heart. This Type of Thinking is such a classic for me. I got the vinyl for Xmas and plan on framing it with all my signed Thrice ones lol.

 

Yeah I could honestly go between Ride and Master for my favorite. They’re both perfect metal records. Agreed on all points!

ohhhhhhhhhhh that is a great pick. I'd be hyped about that too! Fan base on this site seem to love Chuck and DTLI but split on the SBM/13 Voices sound vs All Killer/Underclass sound.
