that’s the whole character, his crippling flaw is he falls asleep mid match lol. some opponents pick him up, cradle him until he sleeps, and pin him.

Honestly hard to tell with almost anyone in today's WWE, but I would lean towards heels for them. Besides being cocky, they're whining about the ref's decision so they're not far off from KO/Sami in that regard.

Was thinking of watching NXT later tonight but didn't catch last week's yet. Was last week just a recap of 2017?

 

p sure it was last week that was mostly recap with a condensed version of Cole/Mcintyre with HBK as ref as main, taped on a house show before takeover

Its especially tough because they are feuding with the Uso's, who were solid heels when they hurt Gable, so him kneecapping them back to start this feud isnt truly heel-ish.

That said, Bludgeon Brothers aside, nobody is truly face/heel in the SD tag universe. What is Rusev Day? What are the Fashion Police?

 

Completely agreed. I honestly felt like the dusty finish to last week's tag title match was an odd choice because of these blurred lines of faces/heels. I feel like the perfect spot for that is when the champions are heels, the faces get the victory to a big pop, just to have the belts stripped away from them moments later. Major heat on the heels and builds up the chase for the faces even more so the eventual payoff is even better.

Felt like a test balloon in a way. The pop for a Gable/Shelton win was good....the pop for the overturn was twice as loud though.

Short of turning New Day heel, I dont see a great solution longer term. Their best heel teams (Rusev Day + Usos) are cheered the most. And their best face teams (New Day, Fashion Police) are stuck in a repetitive spot.

 

I think it's gotten to the point where the wwe really is trying to go away from heels and faces...for both me and women. A lotttttt of tweener right now

 

Just you and women? Seems like an interesting demographic.
