    I don't watch a lot of movies, because I usually just binge TV shows(I have too many)

    The last 3 I've seen now are all based on @Dog with a Blog recommendations: The Tree Of Life, A Ghost Story, The Witch

    Yeah, not very good. It's like they just took pieces from a bunch of different movies and threw them together without any real thought or planning.

    It would probably be possible to make a similar movie that's actually good, but I actually think it'd be better as a limited series/TV show to give some time to build the world and set the stakes.
