I still enjoy this show but I think it's probably getting close to time to end it

  2. Omg these both killed me.

"Agreewoment. Ya that's my current jam, and I look forward to spreading it all on your bread."

    "Vagina-doodle-doo!"

“Gender Friender” was top-tier Tandy. “Girls Girls Girls” bit absolutely destroyed me.

So there’s over a month break before the winter finale and then there’ll be another two month break? The scheduling for this show never ceases to amaze

  5. Both of the main Tandy/Todd scenes this episode were amazing

Also, I was beginning to wonder who was gonna guest star for a few episodes so they had someone to kill off with rubix cube. Guess we have an answer now haha

I love how they're just slowly going through the Forte-era SNL cast

Hope Fred sticks around for a bit now that Portlandia's final season is probably all filmed

The show is at its best when it does episodes like this. There's been one a season iirc (don't remember if there was in the first season unless you count the pilot) and they're all phenomenal

I love that this show does the shortest possible A-list cameos. It's so charming for how morbid it is.

  13. Man, that was like the shortest cameo ever

    I'm so sorry

Not sure how i feel about the idea of Fred Armisen playing a murderous cannibal. Something just doesn't sit right with me

Thought the Sudeikis one from S2 was too

Maybe we'll get a Samberg or Hader one next season lol

Tandy sure seems oddly suspicious of Karl, obviously the dude has a lot to hide but Tandy is normally not that intuitive. Quality > quantity I guess but I feel like this episode and the last should've started next season rather than ending this one, feels like it ended in a weird place

Armisen is the best addition to this series by far. Just when the show was starting to get a little dull, they added him in and he brought a new energy to it. Loved this episode and loving the arch as a whole.

Wtf this was the last episode until spring? I'm convinced FOX is trying to kill this show

I feel like this episode jumped the shark for me. The reality of the show is completely gone now that we've watched somebody suck on a band-aid and eat corpse fingers.

2 seasons ago we had a man die because they couldn't take his appendix out and a bunch of incredibly touching episodes when Mike gets the virus. Now we just have Fred eating people. There were some funny jokes in this episode, but I really haven't like much since they got to Mexico.

"Winter breaks" is happening more now with network shows I think. May be due to limiting episodes in seasons for budget purposes as well as opening up a window for a new show in the same timeslot. Used to be sitcoms and dramas would have 23-26 episodes a season but with cable and streaming shows usually running 13 episodes, there is no set number any more.

These last two episodes are great. I was pretty ready to stop watching, but this random batshit serial killer reminds me of this show doing weird, kind of gutsy stuff. I agree that it’s weird for Tandy to be the one who is suspicious, but whatever. This show just needed SOMETHING other than awkward relationship drama/babies.

And I say this as someone who is not a fan of Armisen
