The Guardians of the Galaxy movies are fun romps. The new Spooderman was also pretty good of you watch it through the lens of, “this is a comedy” and not as a superhero movie. It’s pretty funny. Other than that, my issue with the Marvel movies isn’t so much that they are awful, just incredibly formulaic and really boring. Even Guardians follows that formula, but at least it does so with style and has a personal voice that a lot of those movies lack. I also blame them because now everything needs to be a franchise and have a universe, but that’s not necessarily their fault and more Hollywood’s. Oh, and the color pallet on those movies is absolutely awful. They look bad, like a CW show or something.

I was pretty bummed when Deadpool started to take the traditional Marvel formulaic path near the end. I thought it worked and had its own unique identity until that point

Marvel sucks, superhero movies suck, everything sucks.

Day One of the Resistance: my attempts to assimilate myself into the group of haters and fools has been successful. I've convinced them that I share their cynical worldview devoid of all things fun.
