I wonder who has ever been closest. I don't even think a team hosting has hosted the conference title game. When I was a kid I used to think they just picked a nice place that had a shitty team so it was even lol

Just realized that 5 of the 8 remaining teams have never won a Super Bowl. Theoretically we could have conference title games that guarantee us a first time champion.

Vikings have a chance this year. The Super Bowl rotated a lot between Miami, New Orleans, and San Diego for many years. Now that cold weather cities are eligible, I think we’ll see it happen within the next 10 years.

Edit: Miami and New Orleans seem to host it more than any other. LA hosted many of the early SB’s.

Despite reminding him the Jags already smashed the Steelers in Pittsburgh, my dad pretty much thinks the jags have no chance. Official Dad Kiss Of Death™

Ed Hochuli and his family dined at my job the day before the game haha. It was weird to actually recognize a referee by his face. I wasn’t serving that part of the restaurant on Saturday though

Feels like Houston and Arizona get it a lot too. I remember Indy got glowing feedback when they got it. I'd love to see one at Gillette but no chance of that ever happening.

ATL should be absolutely embarrassed if they get beat by Nick Foles and Doug Pedersen this weekend. Highly unlikely that happens but if it does, move to London.

This is the same ATL team that allowed Miami to score 20 unanswered points so anything can happen. I will not stand for these reverse jinx shenanigans.

Belichick just said he absolutely intends on being back next year. So, if you're the Giants, do you hold out hope and miss out on other options, or do you move forward and maybe miss out on the greatest coach of all time?

Nagy to the Bears. Please keep Fangio now.

Also been rumored for a while he would bring Pettine with him wherever he goes which is cool too

You hire a new coach and if Bellichick decides he wants to come there, you fire that new coach and GM, or make them assistants or something.

Glad the Bears hired Nagy. I think that was the best shot for Defilippo leaving...hopefully he stays in Philly.

Something I read the other day speculated that McDaniels was either going to land in Indianapolis or Chicago, so I guess we’ll see if that happens now that Chicago is closed

Indy can't have the best QB and best coach. They don't deserve it. They are stupid.

Interesting to see everyone's perspective of McDaniels and how much it's changed since his Denver days lol. I'm sure he'll do much better his second time around as HC, but man, what a trainwreck he was
