My cat is a fatass too. We put her on this stupidly expensive, "last resort", diet cat food and she gained a pound over 6 months.

15-16 pounds. We can't just let her free eat because she will eat until she pukes and then eat her puke, ad nauseam. So she gets a quarter cup of food twice a day.
