Yeah the fliers and old videos were great. Really cool stuff. It’s a shame that there aren’t any videos of their shows before 1995.

 

How much fun is the one (think billed at Travis first show) it’s MTVish and they’re playing some weird pool party with bikini girls, guys doing tricks into pools off ramps

Then there the first ever pro shot one of them in a park in Australia

And the one where a guy in an ET mask is nude on stage for about 2 songs

And mark nude in Bahamas enema era for whole set

 

Think we'll get a new blink record this year?

 

doubt it. probably spring 2019, if i had to guess.

 

Yeah, it seems like they're taking things easy right now, but hopefully they at least get into the studio this year.

 

Hopefully they stay out of the studio and Alkaline Trio records an album and tours all year

Edit: But a Blink album is welcome in 2019

 

Maybe we'll get a Mark's Car Racer album while Matt does some Alk3 stuff this year

 

If Alkaline even do anything this year

I'd like to think Matt wouldn't say they've been writing if it was gonna go nowhere. Unless he's picked up that trait of Tom while he's been in blink lol

If I remember correctly didn’t Matt say he had been writing new Trio songs during the California summer tour in 2016?

 

He did but obviously he couldn't do anything with them at that point. Now that blink's off and he says he's writing with Dan and Derek that seems much more concrete to me

 

I think that between Travis and Matt having other obligations, Mark is just going to have to concede to patience for a while.

 

I'm sure he's perfectly content hanging out at Stonehenge every other week.

 

Plus Mark has worked with Tom for decades. Patience is one thing he’s probably a master of now

While Matt and Travis are busy Mark should start a side project with Tom DeLonge

 

Didn't he have a whole album of songs written with Chris Holmes under the name Nobody & Nothing?

 

I would honestly be semi-interested in a self-produced Mark solo album

 

I think he was asked about that project a while ago and said it was put on the back burner once blink got restarted with Skiba. If blink is taking this year off it would be nice to have him work on it a bit more even if they just put out a small EP or 3 or 4 songs it would be cool to get new Mark non blink music.
