I have one script I’ve been working on for years about a rookie detective in Cleveland, OH and his mentor who catch the eye of a notorious serial killer who starts to take a personal interest in the rookie and begins s Cat and mouse game with who can catch who first. Kind of a horror/crime procedure combo

 

Well, I've only ever written one joke, but it is something I'd like to try.

Haha no. Not silence of the lambs. Plus I’d never dare compare one of my works to that. But think Silence Of The Lambs meets Seven but not nearly as good and you’d have the general genre I aimed for

 

Confession: I may or may not have written a comic relief character into the script that vaguely acts like @Kingjohn_654

But a stand up comedian type character who makes light jokes of situations most normal people wouldn’t think to, but still is a decent human.

My mini crisis is that I lost my wedding ring. Took it off for basketball last night and I thought I put it in my nightstand drawer. Played the game, went to bed when I got home, forgot to put it on this morning and realized this afternoon that I didn’t have it on. So when I got home I opened the nightstand drawer, expecting to find it, but it wasn’t there. I spent about an hour looking for it and trying to retrace my steps but I haven’t found it yet :(

So yeah, I’m ok, my family is fine and everything, but I just feel sad and I’m frustrated at myself for misplacing something that’s so important to me.

It’s ok, it’ll probably turn up (I hope!) but it’s just a bummer. I’m kinda upset at myself.

On the bright side, at least it’s my ring and not my wife’s!

 

I’m honestly amazed that in the 6+ years I’ve been married this has never happened to me.

 

One thing I learned tonight:

I’ve made it 4+ years but apparently today (or yesterday) is the day

 

i been stuck in the limbo of loving someone you know you could/should marry but life keeps throwing yall off/turning yall against each other for years. That said it also always brings us back around.... Salute to anyone married and building cus god knows this pin it down and make it realize we ain't going anywhere period is literally killing me, no hyperbole....
We both tried moving on, all that... always right back. Love shit has hit the fan and ugh.... when my friends tell me theyre envious of me I'm like "Hmu in a few years, if it works out i got advice, if it dont i got warnings" lol
