Gas Station food is like an abusive boyfriend to me. I should really stay away, but I just can't and he always hurts me.

 

In New Jersey we don’t pump our own gas.
I’m not originally from New Jersey but this is the first thing I thought of when I think of a person from New Jersey when they go across state lines:

 

I feel like you could do a few minutes of standup on gas station food.

 

The first time my wife was pregnant there were several instances where I came home from work and made dinner, she took one bite, said "nope" and then ate a bowl of cereal instead.

 

I can't help but think that this policy had a lot to do with causing Chris Christie to be Chris Christie.

This is the second time today I've seen someone bring up Zoolander as a comparison to people pumping/not pumping their own gas, what is going on

One of their vocalists started the band Jaguar Love, but they haven't released any new material since 2010.

The Blood Brothers did play some shows in 2014, so maybe there's hope for some future shows/music?

 

And risk my kingdom being overtaken!?

it's possible. the gatsbys drummer was the brother of the blood brothers drummer.

Their lyrical styles are obviously completely different, but the subject matter of the songs isn't too dissimilar.

 

yeah. TBB song is more about military war machines and TMP is more about commercialism/money/privilege I think.
