I don't get it.

 

Up until today people of Oregon were banned from pumping their own gas. New law today makes their pumps self serve and people of Oregon are freaking out

 

Haha, that's ridiculous.

But, on the flip side, I would be super annoyed if I pulled into a gas station and was told I couldn't pump my own gas.

It looks like there's still a ban from pumping your own gas in "major" counties.

Apparently this is also a thing in New Jersey?

It's slightly annoying if you're Type A personality. However, when the weather is -2F with -14F wind chill, you'll find you're more than happy to hand someone your card and let them be an Eskimo popsicle for you.

 

I thought the quotes at the end of the article (the link I posted) were pretty hilarious!

Nuts to that! I'm guessing having an attendant also makes the gas significantly more expensive.

Plus, she's pregnant. No coffee for her, and no gas station consumables either.

 

If you know anything about the guy, he'd never try this.

 

The first time my wife was pregnant, I remember one day she was craving gas station toquitos. We went in and bought at least one of each kind. She took one bite and threw up. I ate the rest.
