Nope, if it matches to Apple music it'll download in 256kbps AAC, and if you try uploading a lossless file it'll automatically change it to a smaller file (also 256 AAC I think).

The only way to do that is to sync manually, which you can't do without deleting all your downloads from iCloud music library. You'll just have to clear the local library on your phone, then sync whatever you want before redownloading things from iCloud. It's a pain in the ass, but it has to be in that order.

 

It requires more than a student email. It makes you log into the school's webpage.

(also, the student membership is only renewable for four years)

 

Wondering if anyone here can answer a question for me. I have a MacBook Pro, running OS X Mountain Lion, and for several months the trash size has been stuck at 31.9 GB. I can add stuff to it, I can even empty it, but the get info page still shows the size as 31.9 GB. Can anyone explain why this is happening or what I can do to fix it?

I just got an iPhone 6s and need a decent, semi protective (nothing like a clunky otter box) case. Any recommendations?

But it does work in that order? Is it worth doing this for two records coming out soon.. Once I get hotelier and radiohead in full lossless maybe I'll do it ha.. If I like saosin and thrice enough I may do it for them as well.. Thank you for the advice this is something Apple needs to fix.. If they hAve the storage for you to store what is it 100k songs now? Then they need to allow you to download lossless files directly to your iCloud music library..

Anyone know if Apple will ever go he tidal route and allow a lossless subscription? I would pay for it

My wife, oldest kid and myself finally took the plunge and went with Apple after many years of using Android. Picked up a couple of 6s Plus' and a 5c and I gotta say, liking what I've seen so far.

I'm curious about the Iphone 7 but unless they do something crazy, I probably won't be upgrading.

That's what I've used for each of my past (and future) iPhones. Between the cost, look, and thinness, can't go wrong.

 

I agree. I've had the Macbook space gray for a week now and while it looks and feels amazing, it feels so slow and small compared to the 15" Retina I've been chugging along for the last year. I'll probably return it and get a 13" Pro but I'm still not sure.

I got the moshi case for my 6s Plus, I love the look and it's still thin and protective enough for every day use.

The only thing I've heard is that the silicone one collects a lot of dust. The leather one does not seem to collect dust for me.

 

Is anyone following the leaking of the iPhone 7 specs? There are some dimensions and layouts showing the 7+ having dual cameras while the plain 7 being more like the 6s.

I have a Galaxy s6 Edge and I run into the problem of holding the phone and touching the sides of the screen.

 

I've been following along to see if there's anything rumored that'll make me regret getting the SE, which I plan to do soon, so that's good lol. It'd need something spectacular to get me to up my screen size. I have the 5s now.

 

I love Apple, but if this is true, I have no idea what to think. It's like they're trying to ruin their company.
