I feel like we have popular comedians and talk show hosts who make light of equally sensitive topics. Im sure Anthony Jeselnik or Amy Schumer have written absolutely in-human jokes about suicide etc.

The outrage doesnt bother me. I am outraged personally. With the aforementioned it feels like theres picking and choosing sometimes about whos allowed to be a fucked up comedian who does fucked up comedian stuff and whos not, strangely. I believe its our right to be outraged at all of it.

I didn't even know Jake Paul had a brother until this morning. Wtf is up with those guys? Why are they famous and paid millions of dollars to be shitty people?

 

I think the difference is, as with lots of things, between words and actions. Making a joke is one thing, actually going somewhere known for being a place where people commit suicide and filming the body of someone who recently committed suicide, then posting the footage to YouTube for profit, is something entirely different.
