Damn I thought for sure that was it, now I'm real curious

 

okay, Cuphead I see you.

 

I'm 4 hours into the evil with in 2 and only at Chapter 4. FML I suck at this game and its on easy. Too much walking around a million times trying to figure out what Im supposed to do. this is why I stick to east first person shooters instead. no thinking required lol. good game though.

 

I don’t know what took so long so for me to get the HD version of Final Fantasy X

 

Gonna finally pick up Wolfenstein 2 today, excited to play following what I've read here/heard from friends.

 

Finished Horizon: Zero Dawn last night.

Definitely skyrocketed to one of my favorite games of all time. Gameplay was a blast and the story was absolutely incredible.

 

Wow. Assasssins Creed Origin has made an incredible first impression.

 

I plan on picking this up based on all of the great things I've heard. The fact that it has more RPG elements has me excited.

 

Dude I was howling at the screen it’s so epic RIGHT AWAY. And I am on the record as the biggest Ubisoft sceptic on this forum.

 

I actually heard AC:O has a weak opening.... so you are in for a treat

 

Most of the students in the Special Education classroom I'm observing for college got Mario for the holidays. Hearing them tell me about it is probably the most and best I've heard them speak in my entire time here. Just another reason video games are great

Played like an hour of BOTW last night and was floored

 

but the joycons also get charged if they're attached to the console in the dock, so they never run out for me. same with PS4—i have a charging dock which is the best investment ever, i just leave the controller on it when i'm not playing, and i've never had it die on me. i hate having to charge things with cords, and thankfully i've never had to do that with PS4 or switch.

 

I haven't had any of my switch controllers die on me yet, Joycons or Pro Controller. Im actually really surprised how good the battery is on them

 

What's the best class setup in WW2? My K/D is weak at 1.06 lol.

 

I started with Airborne because I love Band of Brothers but I was getting mixed results so then I started messing with Armored and I love it. Easily my best when I’m playing with it. I use the default LMG with QuickDraw and FMJ which works well because there’s a lot more ammo to throw at the player you’re shooting. I’ve been using a launcher as my secondary because you can get at least 150 points every time for destroying a Recon plane which in turn gets you closer to your own score streaks. Getting kills with your bipod deployed is the best

 

I've been doing OK with Airborne as well, using the PPSH or Type 100. I'm only level 31 and haven't seen anything I liked in the rifles section. I will try the LMG this evening w/launcher.

 

COD WWII is actually so fun. Got it a few days ago and I’m actually really liking it.

Also bought Pillars of Eternity at gamestop. Never heard of it before I saw the box, but it looks dope and it was on sale for 20 bucks. So I snagged it.

The nostalgia just hurdled right back at me when I got this and played it. Was pretty damn awesome.

 

Anyone in here ever make up their own game within a game?

When my brothers and I were younger, we got Need For Speed 2 on our original PlayStation. We quickly realized racing wasn't the funnest part about the game.

We created a game within the game that we called "Flipping Diesels." You turn on traffic mode on the Outback level, and then when we'd see a semi truck, our goal was to crash into it and try to get it to flip over and stay upside down. Then we'd move on and find the next one to flip.

Still, that's the only way we play the game. I can't remember the last time we actually raced.

 

There was an episode of IdleThumbs that discussed this a bit. I don't remember what episode though unfortunately

 

got a lot of catching up to do in this thread but i started playing Pyre the other day and love how different it is to anything else i've ever played

 

This is on my list of games to play still that I have downloaded. Currently playing Night in the Woods and I'm loving it though
