Even colder here. -40 with the wind chill. I meant to post a picture yesterday in response to @bachna84 post about being 2F in Ohio. That's cold too but this bitter cold we are getting right now is next level stuff.

It's funny how in the Sci Fi thread I always felt such a need to catch up when I was/had been away but in this thread I really don't feel that need to catch up and I like that. Such a relief.

Did Santa get you guys any good gifts? My most surprising gift would have to be getting Raptors tickets. Going to see them in March for the first time. Game is against the Houston Rockets. Gonna be gr8.

I'm here and there is literally no one from my team working today except one person working from home. I shouldn't have been a dummy and just taken a PTO day.

Also I slept on my glasses weird and loosened the screws, and now one of the, I have no idea what you call it but the stick part that goes over my ear, has fallen off. I want to go home.

 

They’re fine, though a waste of money. They’re not really that different from spinning/twirling your pen, which many people I knew in high school did and I still do to this day.

 

We were all regulars in the Brand New Science Fiction thread. Once Jesse was revealed to be a diddler, we needed a new place to chat that wasn't attached to that sniveling reprobate. Ja made us this thread, the title is mocking my constant mention of the Movielife. So here we are. Take your coat off, stay awhile.
