There was a kid next to me that was quietly crying during the entire second half of the movie. Like, traumatized crying because of all the things the characters he loves are going through. He was so scared of Kylo when he was trying to turn Rey and kept turning his head away when he was on screen. It was so sad and adorable lol

One of my favorite “theater moments” was a kid asking “dad what happened?” when Luke became one with the force. It’s cool to see kids watching the films and have the same questions/reactions we had when we were younger. Made me want to have kids and teach them Star Wars.

the 3rd time I saw it this past weekend, a kid and his dad sat next to me. The kid could not have been more than 5 or 6, and he was fully dressed in a stormtrooper costume, and even better, the dad (maybe late 30s) was fully dressed in a darth vader costume. The kid kept getting so excited at chewbacca and the porgs, and every time there was a fight scene. It was awesome.

I wish I had some cute kids around me. On my first viewing I had some dude behind me that kept grunting whenever Rey came on screen. Was annoying af.

I’m sorry that people had to be in the theater with me, I was laughing all the way through. Must’ve been so annoying but I just though the movie was so hilarious.

I am paraphrasing here, but I laughed way too long when Rose asked Finn who would know about the layout of the destroyer and Finn said something along the lines of "the guy who mops the floor, that's who" referring to himself. It felt like I was the only who laughed, too.

Still working my way through the visual dictionary. It says that DJ “purposely arranges his own arrest for a petty crime. The jail is the only place he can grab some sleep with the assurance he won’t be pestered by the Canto Bight Police Department.” Thought that was cool.

Also, I was aware DJ stood for “DON’T JOIN”, but didn’t know he has it engraved on the plate of the hat he wears. Not like we can read it, still cool though.

Finn called the security on Canto Bight "cops" but if they are referred to as the Canto Bight Police Department then I guess "cops" could be a word that exists in the star wars universe.

I liked the movie even more my second time around. The problems I have with the movie are seriously minuscule. I think I am at an all time high of Star Wars fandom, honestly. I always liked the stuff, but I'm borderline obsessive at this point. I can't read enough about it, and I just bought TLJ visual dictionary, Lost Stars, and Bloodline with some Christmas money. I've never read any SW books so I'm excited. Any other book recommendations after those? I'm thinking Thrawn.

lol damn. As I said about your post showing the explosives being magnetic in the visual dictionary, I love how they plug all these holes and dont waste time in the movie doing it. It didnt bother me that much but it was a little too convenient but Im glad I have an answer. Might just have to get this dictionary.
