Honestly even if this guy is trolling, I'm glad the other men in here are at least somewhat self-aware

If you are a real person reading this and not a troll, and you wonder why she just won't be with you and you're so nice and perfect for her....re-evaluate that mentality. Women (and men and NB etc you know what I mean) don't owe you a god damn thing in this world.

I was totally a nice guy why won't she give me a chance type of person way back when. Then I had a couple relationships and realized I'm a piece of garbage who treats people like shit

I feel like I was sort of a Nice Girl if that has ever been a thing lol. All the guys forever falling for my friends and never me even tho I was so nice and chill and would never treat them bad blah blah. Except I don't think there was really that element of entitlement so I guess it's not the same. But then I also had to realize that I was so shy and putting up such big defenses that nobody ever wanted to talk to me cause I was unapproachable. Now I'm... Still the same lol.

i came of age during early 2000s DTR pop punk, so you can just imagine. i too was/is a piece of shit who thought the world owed me something, that maybe she'd realize i was right here the whole time, etc.

was at the gym today and it seemed like a girl was trying to get me to talk to her. there were at least five different instances when i ended up at my destination, and then suddenly she was there, coming from out of nowhere. first two times i thought maybe coincidence, but after meeting at the wipe down towels machine thing three different times i thought maybe it was something else.

when we met at the bubbler for the FOURTH time i finally decided to do something besides smile and say "hi" so i went with the very smooth, "thirsty huh?" and then walked away before she could answer.


doesn't matter anyway, i have no inclination to start something new only a week before New Year's. i've never felt relationships were good in winter. those always seem made for summer / early fall so that's when i have them. hopefully she's still at the gym come summer so i can drop another smooth one-liner at her
