I want Lane to take a new job every two years.

I want Lane to end up coaching for every SEC East school but Tennessee. And finally, once he's done that, announce that he's going to his dream job at Tennessee, and then go coach the Titans.

i gotta say i'm a fan of this early signing day. georgia is crushing it, but my gators made good strides today to get back into it after a lot of decommits over the past few weeks. also looks like we might have to start taking texas seriously again.

Yeah, I am a fan of the early signing period. Should expose Stanford somewhat in how they worked the recruiting angle over the years. They will have to change some of their past practices for sure given the timelines for a lot of kids moving up.

That said, happy to see ND got 20/20 on their anticipated early commits.

HA. Nebraska did end up getting that Tennessee recruit.

LSU's class is also pretty dope. Aranda loading up for his swan song.

    Which?

Somehow we also lost the highest rated prospect out of Knoxville to Georgia. (He was a lock for here until Butch got fired, oddly enough.)

After the disaster of a firing/hiring, would you want to pin your future playing career and NFL prospects on UT?

Considering we have one of the most storied college to NFL paths in all of college football no matter who has been coaching...

Not to mention the new coach has won four national titles already...

But yes. Let’s blame the fans not wanting Schiano.

This UT class would be inevitably worse than it is after today if Schiano stuck around. Pruitt actually recovered it quite nicely today imo, given the situation. Moved up some 20 spots on the 247 rankings.

He’s building a very tidy staff and did some very good recruiting in a short period of time. Not gonna get my hopes too high but I’m really liking him. Especially because he talks football unlike Jones’ platitudes.

I'm not sure what coach in the SEC I want to make fun of now that Butch is gone.

Matt Luke is the clear weak link. Beyond that, the SEC is honestly STACKED. I don't think anyone outside of Ole Miss will be a laughing stock here any time soon. I also would not be shocked if they field 13 winning teams in two years time.

Well, I haven't seen much from Stoops or the Vandy coach. Then again, I don't expect shit from those programs. And Matt Luke doesn't really act like a buffoon the way Butch did. Man, that guy was just an easy target with his stupid haircut and butchisms.

It's crazy that four pretty good recruits did not sign with OSU and they still have the second rated class. I assumed they would be in on Petit-Frere, but now that recruitment will be interesting to watch with so many programs going for him in a down OL class.

WMU with the top ranked class in the MAC (highest ever if you want to believe 247)

I don't think I asked you ever, but did you know Jordan White from his WMU days?
