Ghost ship and house of wax are classics u literally can't go wrong with either u should prob just do a double feature honestly

Ghost Ship has a great and really original opening scene. Don't remember much else about it though.

Anyone see "The Trace We Leave Behind" AKA "O Rastro"?

 

This is awesome. I had a collection of them when I was younger and may have just thrown it out thinking they were worthless. Shame knowing I’d love to have them now.

 

My Suspria special edition came in the mail today! It’s gorgeous. Totally worth it IMO if anyone was on the fence about it.

 

Shudder's collection of Christmas horror is pretty lacking.

Anybody hear anything about the new Shudder series Black Lake? Wondering if it's worth checking out

 

FINALLY got around to The Babysitter and it was pretty much exactly what I hoped for, kinda bad but very over-the-top and a shitload of fun

 

The premise was way over the top, but I didn’t roll my eyes at anything until the car scene. That was the point where I went ok, this movie is ridiculous.

 

i'm still over here laughing at the one girl with the shot boob and/or the look on the dude's face as he gets double stabbed in the head is that bad

 

Jokes in the first half definitely fell flat more often than not but the kills in the second half were totally worth it imo

 

First 2 minutes of Black Lake is perfectly shot IMO, will be at least watching the pilot

edit: watched 2 episodes. though i agree with this: "the series could work for younger viewers who may be unaffected by the series' lack of originality"
in the sense that i've seen "spooky abandoned resort where strange things happen and the caretaker is troubled" before, i mean is there anything better than the shining for that?

Last Shift was pretty good. Worth a watch for sure. I haven’t seen Friend Request tho, so I can’t really sway against it.
