They built sets and shot footage for a longer Fathier sequence; they were supposed to run on the rooftops and through a bathhouse. (this is also from the art book).

 

Lol the original 3 hour movie was just farhiers running for 30 more minutes

 

They challenge us in many ways in his film.

They answer our questions but not the way we wanted them answered... that angers fans who feel like they should be writing he movie. Everyone had a version of this movie in their head and I doubt anyone had this... amazing that they were able to do this! Somehow make a movie that worked and still surprised us.

There's things I can nitpick as being too fan-campy (Luke's dirt of your shoulder gesture and wink to 3PO), but who cares? This was an overwhelming fun and exciting movie.
