So pumped for CBB DC tonight

 

If someone is kind enough, can they drop me with the CBB essentials of the past year or so? I think Heynong Man was the last one I listened to, along with the best ofs and the last ep of Mookie's Michael Jackson. I'm listening to 400 now and getting back into the groove of the ones that I've missed

 

On my way now, I'll be front and center pretty much. Ridiculously excited.

oh, people who try way too hard when they get called on stage, haha

 

I got put into a sketch (without really wanting to be) when I saw The Whitest Kids, but I don't know how I'd react if I got pulled on stage during CBB.

 

just the thought of someone doing crowd work with me makes me anxious let alone being on stage

 

The best, most uncomfortable crowd work I have seen is when Nathan Fielder had people come on stage to interview him.

 

that sounds like legitimately the funniest thing ever
unless you were the person called up stage

 

This is how it happened: it was for a sneak peak screening of some of the new season, and at the end he had a Q&A. So people raised their hand to ask questions and he decided to have them come on stage one at a time and he interviewed them instead so he could get to know them. And then after that whole thing, he allowed them to ask him their one question. Somehow he managed to get the most bizarre people on stage, it was amazing.

There was one guy who was clearly trying to be funny and make funny responses to Nathan's questions, but Nathan really broke him down.

 

oh yeah, as i said, the people who really try hard always look the worst, haha
