I like Jurassic World

 

I'm honestly impressed with how much a lot of you can remember. My memory is shit.

 

It's not as outright putridly bad as its general reputation seems to be, for sure. Just kind of middling and unremarkable. Although a lot of people will say that's the worst kind of movie, which I mostly tend to agree with.

In hindsight maybe they shoulda closed the door a little earlier though.

 

DAMNIT i keep forgetting to post this.

So the bombs in the beginning. Im thinking the massive amounts of bombs they had were from Bloodline when Joph and Greer were on Sibensko that were going to bomb Hosnian Prime and they kept them because they knew theyd need them eventually against the first order.
I imagine that couldve been one of the additions from Rian for that book

 

The room with Snoke and the imperial guards was so visually stunning

 

The scene where Snoke's body just fell apart and Rey/Kylo went back-to-back to take on the Praetorian Guards was one of the biggest WTF moments I've ever seen in a film. The audience lost its mind.

 

Worth risking letting in the TIE fighters to get those shots, imo. Glad Leia was willing to work with the DP on that one.

 

So as far as fight scenes, the Praetorian guards fight is my new favorite in Star Wars. No contest. It was so fun. So brutal and a lot I wouldnt expect form Disney. rey beheaded somebody on camera. Kylo piercing the face. The guard getting mangled and spitting out pieces of him in the air.

Anybody else?

 

It was definitely the most brutal fight, and was generally pretty awesome. But I still really love the fight between Rey and Kylo in TFA. And as much as the prequels are lame, the fight at the end of Phantom Menace is classic, even if only for introducing what is still one of the greatest pieces of film score ever written. Also, in terms of narrative significance, nothing beats the fight at the end of ROTJ (which I just realized we can no longer call "Jedi" for short).

 

Best fights are in the Clone Wars series.

I loved Kylo and Rey's first actions after the throne room fight illustrated who they are. Rey immediately runs to check on her friends while Kylo approached the throne. Very cool.

 

I keep looking at your avatar and wanting Korg to cross over into the Star Wars universe

 

I've never felt my jaw literally drop during a movie like that before. From when Kylo killed Snoke to when him and Rey went back to back... man. I know this sounds hyperbolic, but that was one of the most satisfying things I've seen in film.

 

Nope im there with you. Same with basically the whole third act honestly with Crait and Luke

 

"Hey man, my friend Rey and I been thinkin' about starting a revolution, yeah? You want in?"
