band's awful imo. there's nothing they're doing that tons of other bands aren't doing infinitely better. not to mention their vocalist is kind of a dweeb and his self-important manifesto is the most pretentious word salad nonsense ever haha.

 

I know nothing about them, really. Just heard the name mentioned and I checked out a few of their songs. Didn't think they were bad, but then I saw the videos/read some of the comments and apparently people have some thoughts on them.

 

haha yeah they're pretty divisive. i will say this though, if the remaining members of the band formed a new project without the hendrix dude, it'd have potential to be something good.

I don't see how either code orange or morbid angel are top five anywhere. It's nice that morbid is going back to their old ways but I still see them just a less tech decapitated or cryptopsy. Code orange, fun album but again, not really a top five.

Elder should be #1 on every list.

 

Nice. I don't think I've ever seen either band (maybe Carnifex, but I can't remember) - I've always liked Whitechapel though so I'm looking forward to them mostly, but the rest of the bill seems fairly solid so I'm gonna try to get there early and check out everyone.

 

That first band name is appropriate because that's how I'd feel attending this tour. :)

Haha. I know deathcore's not you're thing. I probably wouldn't be going if it weren't for the $5 tickets, but I do have a soft spot for Whitechapel.

Intervals is so tight

 

I'm listening to all of these bands at work right now since I'm only really familiar with them by name, rather than their music (except for WC) - I might struggle to get through some of it myself, ROS seems the most interesting... Entheos sounds like an alien is singing for them, and not necessarily in a good way... Carnifex is hit or miss for me, they have a few tracks I dig, others I don't...

 

they're great but that's not a good opjnion for this thread
