@St. Nate Watched some footy and did some laundry. Gotta go help my aunt now, but planning to pick up a six pack of beer and watch sports the rest of the afternoon after that.

 

I'm on call for work this weekend. One of the applications we support had a big release, so I'm listening to developers test their changes. Incredibly exciting.

Meeting in Macon for dad's bday and I decided to stay tonight with my parents so I wouldn't have to make the extra trip and I have made a grave mistake..

 

I'm still in bed as well. Some Mark Ruffalo movie is on tv but I have no idea what it is.

In regards to school, luckily Florida has Bright Futures program so that covered half of my tuition and my parents were able to help me with other half. Once I get to PT school though, I'm going to be on my own and I will definitely have to take out loans.

 

Watching Jurassic park, recording 3 podcasts throughout the day. RIP my voice

When did you live in Killeen? I absolutely hated that area, with the exception of a few things. Harker Heights and Copperas Cove were nice little towns tho.

UConn did something like this to my friends. Some rando's ran through the halls and busted up all the ceiling tiles when they were drunk and since they couldn't find the culprit they just tacked on fees to all of the residents of the dorm. Unreal.

 

My school charges everyone like $200 in fees to cover shit stolen from the dining hall so I steal shit because im getting charged for it anyway

I got a serious fine for parking close to a friends dorm because he was on crutches and I helped him up to his 5th floor apt. I tried to fight it but they were withholding my diploma as well. I hope they don't actually think that I would give them another dime after what they put me through.

 

In Afghanistan, they had a large room in the dining hall where there were snack foods like ice cream and sugary stuff. One of the Sergeants Major did not like this, so he had them build the door way so narrow, that people could not fit through it if they had a little bit of heft to them. He sent out a scathing email about how he hates fatties. The contractors rebelled and ended up getting a very large doorway. It was the greatest battle of the war on terror.

I actually lived in Harker Heights haha, worked in Killeen and my ex lived there after we broke up and she decided to move out. I lived there from mid 2014-mid 2015. I don't miss it at all haha, agreed on hating it.

 

I'm no where near having a kid but I do have names picked out already. I went to a baby shower not too long ago and we were talking and I said if I had a daughter I was going to name her Mabel. Guess what she's decided to name her baby? I felt just like Charlotte York did on SATC. I may be overreacting and I could understand coincidence if the name wasn't unique but she just straight up took my name.

 

If I have a girl, its name will be Margot. No way around that one.

 

If I ever adopt a girl, I will name it Heather. It's what I was going to be called if I was born a girl.

Yeah I lost mine for a year because they had GPA requirements in a school that has grade deflation. Needed a 3.2 and got a 3.18. All because of one class with a professor so bad she never taught the class again.

 

My name was supposed to be Dylan no matter what my sex was but since I ended up being a girl my mom decided she didn't like that name for a girl. So my dad and I have the same initals and middle names and my sister has my mom's middle name.

@Nick How is Erin pronounced in Ireland? My gma picked out my name but she pronounced it way differently than everyone else and I never got around to asking her bc I was so used to it.

Spent time at Willy P as well (the first school I dropped out of). Can confirm bears.

Also, if I was a boy I was going to be named Max and I'm super pissed my mom was so attached to me having her grandmother's name as a girl because I would've been the coolest Max.

 

Especially when you tie scholarships for freshman to strict GPA standards.
