I doubt anyone knows the answer to this question, but has anyone else wondered with the absolute perfect transitions from The Alien - The Sunshine - The Grocery, if they recorded the songs together in one go, or if they were edited this way? I like to think that they were recorded as a single 13 minute recording session

this might be my AOTY as well. its not really something ive thought about until this morning when i realized i didnt really have a clue what any sort of structured list would look like for me.

 

It’s top 10 for me. Was also thinking about this today and I think it’s m sitting in 7th place. My favourite record by them by far though.

Easy AOTY. Easy their best record to date.

 

I absolutely adore this album and it's easily one of my favorite releases of the year, but I am still not sure I can place it above METN or even Simple Math or Virgin. I feel like those three records, I can spin when I'm in any type of mood and I just sink into it. For whatever reason, for Black Mile, I feel like I have to be in a specific type of mood to put it on or it doesn't hit me as strong.

It's still soooo good though.

 

This is by far my favourite release by them since ILAV. It just gets better and better. They’ve hit a sweet spot.

I probably agree with this. I almost want to call it their best album even though I like listening to the first three more.

I’d really love to give these guys money but their shirts don’t get bigger than XL and I need a XXL.

 

Honestly this is the first album from MO where I adore every song on the record
