Had a raspberry pale ale by upslope brewing, good stuff. Debating if I should drink the bomber of stout Americano by marble brewing later on tonight.

I've had it before, it was really good. My friend knows one of the main brewers there so he got a case of it and I think he went through the whole thing in like 2 weeks.

I've had three beers from Einstock now, and each one is pretty great. Grabbed a 6 pack of the toasted porter last night, and it's just so nice and crisp. They talk a lot about the Icelandic water being what makes it different and I totally believe that

Had this year's breakfast stout yesterday after chilling in the fridge for roughly 6 months and I think it was definitely better than when I had it back in December. Still have 2 aging for this winter, + 2 Backwoods Bastards from the latest release doing the same, although keeping them in a cabinet below the basement sink is probably not the preferred aging method lol. Best possible space though

Brewed a stout yesterday with some friends that I'm planning on souring for like a year with ECY01. Never used a mixed culture before, so wasn't really sure what to expect, but less than 24 hours later and I've got one of the most aggressive fermentations I've ever seen going.

Never been a fan of Budweiser, but drank a 24oz can of Labatt Blue today. Takes me back to a simpler time!

it was such a great place. the beers were awesome. Pulp should be coming back soon, as they haven't had it for a bit. Basically, every beer I had was at least really good, with a couple standouts (Emerald Showers being my favorite - hazy & delicious).

Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.

Had Flying Dog's Mint Julip today. It was not good. The finish tasted like a faint flavor of Skoal Mint.

The Bloodline Blood Orange wasn't bad, though.

Grocery Store near me had six packs of Deschutes Red Chair with an enjoy by date of 5/20 marked down to $4.95/pack. That was an easy decision.

I ended up having this last night and it was quite good! Hard to really explain in words, but having the barrel aged beans definitely had a different taste than if it was coffee beer that was then barrel aged

I've got quite the beer tour lined up this month. Visiting Chicago for a few days so I plan to visit Revolution, Metropolitan and Half Acre. Up through Grand Rapids to Founders. Then to Midland, MI to see some relatives so I'll be stopping over to Frankenmuth. Color me excited!

Nice. Lansing, Mich. has some solid stuff if you make the stop. No where on the level of GR, of course. Let me know if you do and I can let you know what each of the breweries here have to offer. Plus, I work at the largest bottle shop in the city.

Popped open my first bottle from Zebulon Artisan Ales last night. They're a pretty new outfit (first release was Jan'16) out of Weaverville, NC doing great things right now.

Last night I tried their Batch #1 Traditional Farmhouse Saison. I kinda wish I'd aged it a little longer, but it still turned out to be a fantastic saison. Bright, crisp flavor with a hint of Brett, very light and fizzy on the tongue. I'll be hunting down a few more of these to age another 6-8 months. I think it will really peak then.

I also have a bottle of their Batch #2 Smoked Stout with Coffee set back right now. It'll get some quality cellar time before I tap into it.

As for their other stuff, I don't have any of these yet, but will be tracking most of them down eventually: Batch #3 was a Traditional Grisette and I really want to try it, Batch #4 Hoppy Farmhouse Ale that I'll probably skip out on cause its not my thing, Batch #5 is a Tokyo Style Gose and I'm picking up bottles of this on Friday, can't wait!, and then I'm not sure if these two have even been released yet: Batch #6 will be an East India Pale Ale, and Batch #7 is an East India Porter.
