Aphex was the poster child of this for a while since he just kinda released less and less music (and played fewer shows) over the course of a decade and a half until going silent before finally dropping Syro. Was also gonna say Boards of Canada, but then again being reclusive and sparsely releasing albums is kinda their style, heh.

  2. Just want to mention Evaline as well.

Haven't read through the thread, but Valencia is the one I first thought of. I'm sure there are more that I'm not thinking of at the moment.

This. Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild is seriously one of my top 5 favorite albums. I hated what happened to these guys, they just couldn't keep it together with their singer.

I just saw Unwritten Law with Fenix TX a month ago, they're still very much active.

She Wants Revenge is doing a reunion/anniversary of their debut album tour in July.

SOTY are still around as well, new album on the horizon.

For me it was The Morning Of. The Way I fell In was a huge improvement over their debut, then they released a few b-sides and a new song and just....poof. I miss those dudes.

Phantom Planet should have kept going. I dig all of their albums, but their self titled is a classic to me.

Wasn't that the band who made a concept album about abortion or something like that?
