It’s going to be so surreal driving to the theatre. It was for TFA. Rogue one didn’t feel like nearly as big of a deal.

 

I've been avoiding all clips/interviews/photos since the last trailer. Ready to have my mind blown.

 

For Rogue One there were like 15 people standing around the theater lobby kinda just wondering when they'd let us in.

TFA was an all-day affair of waiting in the cold in the parking garage beneath the theater. CAN'T WAIT

 

Just read this will be the longest SW film to date, clocking in at 151 mins.

As long as it doesn't feel like the longest.

 

Not sure anything can feel longer than the first half of Attack of the Clones

 

Daisy Ridley Doesn't Want to Play Rey After 'Star Wars: Episode IX'

I don’t know if her contract is beyond episode IX.

 

Part of me is already sad to think about these new characters' stories coming to an end in IX but it makes sense for her specifically. John Boyega is already doing other action movies in the vein of SW (Pacific Rim most recently) and Oscar Isaac already has a well established career, however successful it's made her I wouldn't doubt she doesn't want to spend her whole life being Rey.

 

Eh I wouldn’t hold that at too high of a value, sounds like something an agent would tell a client to say so that when they are offered the next contract it’s at an insanely high number which she would be worth. If she just comes out and says yea I’ll do this whenever they want, they may not initially give her a high offer... that’s how I always see these things at least

Yea, seems unlikely.

But I would like them to “finish” a story with 9. Then do 3 spin offs and the all new Rian Johnson trilogy, doing on per year. Then maybe we could come back for 10 after giving everyone time to grow and change and be able to revisit these characters.

 

Absolutely give it Time. Or even call it a new trilogy.. unless she is a sky walker haha

 

She has got to be a sky walker. I’d be so surprised if she isn’t somehow connected to that family line.

Or she goes dark and Kyle is ultimately the hero.

A sky walker has to complete the sage. Has to.

 

Still think she is Luke's daughter.

 

We shall see!!!

 

I see her being a palpatine but it’s definitely a stretch
