With all due respect man, I've seen you pull the language barrier card like, one out of every three of your posts. Maybe it IS for you. Because you truly aren't understanding what anyone is saying. i mean it's true. back then things like this weren't considered the same way as they were now. i don't think this person is saying BECAUSE of that this doesn't matter, just reflecting on the past which we can't change. we have the ability to spread this knowledge more now so let's take advantage of that

No. That's not what I said. I just said above to cwhit that I respect his opinion but I disagree with him. Then he proceeded to engage on Lacey truthers apologism. And he keeps doing it. That I comply not just disagree with, I think it's actually fucked up and way lower than what I expect from people here. But the rest of his opinion, I respect although I disagree. It seems that I'm not the one not being able to agree to disagree here.

Honestly? At this point, it’s clear Straylight just wants to feel pain and keeps digging himself into the same hole. It’s just sad at this point.

 

Actually, that article that I took my time to quote not long ago, fairly presents your points and mine. I agree with that article, and I feel like that's the tone we should be giving to this. I'm not looking out for being right, I'm trying to figure it out the right approach and how to handle it. That article seems to have some interesting starting points on how to handle this.

There's absolutely nothing we can do about apologist trolls, I agree. But understanding how to talk about what Lacey did, what other band members did throughout the past and the responsibility of not lumping everything together seems to be key to me. Discussion things individually always works in the victims favor, in my opinion. I'm okay with you disagreeing with that, I'm just not okay with you doing mental gymnastics to say that everything said on those tweets I've mentioned are "okay". They are not. If you actually look what some of them say about the victims, you will see that yeah, those are Lacey truthers.

You trying to silence me and mock me for my opinions won't work with me. It might work with your friends, but not with me. Trying to discredit people that you disagree with isn't the way that adults handle things. I won't say for you to shut up like you keep saying to me. But maybe, think before trying to gaslight me or silence me.
