Another time I remember I was in 8th grade maybe a freshman, it was a big arena show and we had pretty shitty seats, right before blink went on me and my friend jumped the barricade to the pit and just took off into the crowd. Security guards were so confused and i remember looking back and seeing so many others attempting/failing haha

This happened to me with Hayley Williams side stage at a Paramore show one time. I wasn't even a diehard fan or anything, but she came over to my girlfriend and I at the time and while they had gone "off stage" before playing the encore and asked if we were enjoying the show. She said she remembered me from way back from an old interview I did when they were first starting out, and she hugged my girlfriend and I and thanked us for coming. I was just like "ummm.. yeah.. no problem." I don't get star struck, but I definitely sputtered like an idiot that one time. Haha

Haha that is super cool all around. I remember interviewing Vinnie from Less Than Jake, and after the interview, JR and Vinnie were hanging out with my brother and I just shooting the shit when Vinnie's phone went off and was playing the opening riff to South of Heaven by Slayer, so the four of us started talking about '80s thrash metal. Good times.

Haha that's awesome and sounds exactly like Vinnie. I used to work with him pretty closely on exclusives and stuff when I wrote for AP. Really great guy who has done a lot for me over the years.

Yup. Honest to god, I don't know a single person offline that buys music anymore. Every single person I know just uses a streaming service or pirates their music.

For those who follow Travis on Snapchat, he posted some videos of them rehearsing Bored To Death. You can only hear the drums, but it's something already.

We have officially reached the point where we can no longer listen to Snaps without high quality sound equipment or headphones haha. I love it!

in '99 you could say "i need a girl that I can train."
in 2016 they better update dumpweed to "i need a girl that I can train my dog to love like I do"

I wish I could say I met blink, but instead I ate a burger with Puddle of Mudd's vocalist in LA back in 2010...
