I mean, I doubt there are albums that are still coming out in the next month that major publications haven't heard outside of surprise releases or whatever

well at least we're getting the really boring lists out of the way early

 

I think The xx has been on every list so far and that has been thoroughly one of my least favorite albums of the year.

 

gotta at least wait for Miguel to drop before making a list imo

 

This is a worse take than the list that had Katy Perry on it.

 

the xx album is fine albeit pretty boring

 

Is Julien Baker still that much under the radar for publications at this point cause I don't see her on any of these so far.

 

That's really all it was for me. I like two songs but I've heard the album four or five times now and couldn't tell you anything about it.

Yeah I’d imagine she shows up on the lists that all the writers shared by Pitchfork, Stereogum, etc vote on

 

The xx is a very good album fools

 

ryan adams album being on basically all of these lists is all i need to see to not take them very seriously

 

The xx album was such a disappointment for me.

 

The xx album was one of my favorites of the year and the tour for it was a top 5 tour this year for me

 

holy shit yes that live set was so good
