Might have to go on a kick and listen to Within the Ruins after this. One of the few mainstream metalcore bands I felt did it right in recent years.

 

Yeah. I always browse this on Friday mornings. Checked out a few new singles today, a few new albums. More than I usually get interested in, to be honest.

 

Now I have to go listen to this.

Every time I go to Spotify with the intention of checking the new releases, I end up just listening to the Hamilton soundtrack instead. No regrets.

Yeah, I don't listen to a ton of heavier stuff any more. Barrow and Amia Venera Landscape are the only constants.

Yeah. They're one of the worst offenders of "scream the verses, perfect pop chorus" from that era. Doubt I'd like it very much if it wasn't nostalgic at this point.
