I've given them a shot a few times but can't get into them as a whole. There are scattered tracks I love, but a lot I can't get through.

 

This is kind of how I am. I love certain things, and they're certainly talented overall, but most of it never clicked with me.

I actually love most of The Bends, though, which I guess is supposed to be one of their weaker albums, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I've been meaning to get into more of Radiohead's discography. Really only familiar with Kid A and OK Computer, listened to KOL's a few times when it came out and that's about it.

 

The Bends is actually my favorite, that and In Rainbows. I'm not as big on Kid A or Amnesiac, which I know is weird for a Radiohead fan.

 

I have a hard time making myself take the time to dive into a catalogue like theirs. I'm sure one day I will on a limb, and I'll probably like it. Maybe I'm a bad music fan but I'm pretty leisurely when it comes to checking out "classic" albums/artists. I mean shit, I only last year took the time to dive into The Beatles lol

 

I like most of In Rainbows and a bit of Kid A. That's about it.

 

I'm definitely a bad music fan, despite loving music so much. I always get intimidated by diving into a catalogue by artists with more than like 4-5 albums.

 

My fear with artists like that is I'll listen to an album I don't like then lose interest when there's like 5 other albums, one of which I might actually really like. I'm not that patient haha.

 

My biggest problem is that I sour on artists as time goes by. Stars is the biggest example of that. I LOVE Heart and Set Yourself on Fire. After that, I kinda tapered a bit liking each album less and less. The newest one they released was completely forgettable imo. They weren't bad, just too much of the same.

 

Even halfhearted opinions about Radiohead can hurt people. You guys are being irresponsible with my feelings.

Are we all just like-minded or was I wrong about The Bends being considered lesser Radiohead? I could've sworn it was always near the bottom of most people's lists and now I'm wondering.

 

People hate The Bends a lot because it spawned Creep and a rise in their popularity.

That's what I think at least.

This is my favorite pop song not named Vogue. It's not even close.

 

I've been listening to Pvris over new music big time. I'm pretty hooked on them right now. I've listened through a couple new albums but never more than one listen.

 

In Rainbows is their most accessible, but you're doing it a disservice by not listening to OK Computer first.

 

Their song is the official theme song of the next WWE PPV. lol. I've never heard their music.

 

I love this album. I still never got around to listening to her second album, though.

I finally picked up Sucker on vinyl the other day. It's so wonderful. Very different from True Romance. Very radio friendly. Eric Warheim directed a video for the best song on the album. It's amazing.

 

I don't know why those still link to Wikipedia but I couldn't stop it from happening lol
