What are you listening to? I've got Blake and ANOHNI, both of which are great.

 

James Blake is on right now. I listened to ANOHNI yesterday and it's great, just very emotionally exhausting. Other than Skepta album is pretty great, dug the new Kaytranada, going to listen to Dawn Richard after James Blake is done.

I also for the OC superfan in me might check out the new Rooney album lol.

 

Ahh Skepta I need to check out. And now Radiohead on Sunday!!!

 

Radiohead and then Chance The Rapper that Friday. Crazy month full of AOTY contenders.

 

I'm sure my mom won't mind if I have the Radiohead album on in the background the entire time we hang out on Mother's Day, right?

 

The new song is good mom music imo

This wasn't intended as sarcasm or to be creepy but legitimately the new song is just appealing to all people lol

New Charli XCX song is pretty bad. It's for the Angry Birds movie, so I guess I can't be too upset.

 

I didn't really like the new Radiohead song, but then again, I'm in the vast minority of people in the music world who doesn't think Radiohead is anything special.

Felt the same way about the new Justin Timberlake except it's for Trolls. Also there is a new Trolls movie?

Her track for Home was great though

i don't either, but i probably never have them a real listen either. Of the top of my head the only song i can name is Creep... Which I've come to like a lot more than i did when i heard it ad nauseum on alt rock radio as a kid

 

What about the inevitable Funko Pop movie

the last few weeks have been so ridiculous. bey, drake, anohni, james blake, tourist, skepta. radiohead and chance next week.

 

For sure, and she liked their more accessible stuff when I played it for her.

Also, I'm surprising her with Monkees tickets, so after that I could put on Converge and she'd be happy.

 

I think I burned myself out on new music a long time ago. It takes a lot for me to get excited for anything.
