Yes! That's one of my absolute favorites on that album. I really am stoked for the show. I've seen him a handful of times and it is always amazing.

 

Deja entinder, which I just gave up on officially. I think I’m steering clear from anything outside of this thread since the only thing worth fighting back against at this point is that girl on Twitter, and I think Jason and Anthony Raneri are much more qualified to speak on the subject anyways.

 

I think the fact that this site is the one place where almost everyone echoes the same sentiments (Jesse’s actions are gross and inexcusable) goes to show that we really are in the minority, and the entirety of this music scene still needs to wake up.

 

Sad messiah may be the worst AP/Chorus user I’ve ever encountered

 

But also, Deja entinder was ranking each other on fuckability levels, so they’re not even adults in my eyes.

Yeah I’m really glad this place exists but sad because I know it doesn’t representthe music scene as a whole as far as how much progress we’ve made. Props to Jason for determining to turn his community less toxic (by moving away from the news post / comment format of AP) and actually achieving it.

I stumbled upon deja when they streamed SciFi and ended up not unsubscribing because I didn’t even realize I was in it until this whole thing broke out, and while I have no interest in the group (that old Defend Pop Punk group made me certain I did not want anything to do with FB groups) I felt a need to stick up for Nicole / Emily and now I see how pointless it is because some of those kids are just terrible people.

100% agreed. I went on there for the initial stream, and only ever found other awful shit on the page from it showing up in my feed.

I don’t love the news or the revelation of this music scene being turned on it’s head to reveal it’s full of trash, but it’s totally necessary and I believe @Jason Tate has had the most rational, factual, and honorable take on all of it. I’m grateful I’m in this corner of the internet for this whole awful ordeal.

I'm grateful for this little community, as well. I've learned a lot by spending time here and listening to people. I've reversed a lot of toxic ideals that were ingrained in my mind and always work towards being better.

Sorry to say this but I was actually good friends with the woman who's been gathering all this conspiracy bullshit. Until last week we were friends. Then she started this, I called her out on it, we argued, and now she's blocked me on all social media. I do wish she had spent some time here on Chorus. She usually has her heart in the right place but idk what's going on with her now. She would not be doing this for any other band/band members. He admitted it and doesn't defend himself and she's posting all this nonsense and unfortunately, a lot of people believe her. I understand being upset and in denial but I don't understand going through the victims social media trying to discredit and demonise them. It's horrible
