Anyone know why this is only 9 tracks?

 

Haven’t had a chance to listen to the new single yet, but I’m excited about new Dashboard nonetheless.

 

maybe julien baker has just been in my head but the length/aesthetic is very Sprained Ankle to me

 

The number of great bands on Fueled By Ramen is crazy!

 

I could only imagine it's cause it's a really, really strong and concise record.

I remember him saying they realistically had over 40 songs he was really happy with to choose from. Speaks volumes that they narrowed it down to 9. Really looking forward to this.

 

Would be cool if there’s s long song on there that has like 3 or 4 parts. Jesus of Suburbia style haha.

 

9 songs?!?! how weird

 

It's starting to become more of a trend. Off the top of my head, Julien Baker's Sprained Ankle and the most recent QOTSA record have nine songs each.

 

Where are you guys seeing the track listing?

Also I'm surprised by how much I like this first single.

I’m listening to a mark a mission a brand a scar and I’m not obsessed with the guitars... how did I not realize how good they were

 

I'll be damned if that record isn't a classic. Hey Girl and So Beautiful are filler but the rest of that record is rock solid

one of the good things about a new record is that HOPEFULLY vagrant gets off its ass and re-presses Swiss, Places, and Mark
