I'm sure being depressed/addicted/gaining popularity because of your struggle, just creates a new struggle and I don't know how anyone (especially at the age of 21) would be able to handle it. I'm sure any glamorizing of his drug use probably just came from that.

FACTS

 

I remember someone here or on AP saying it was their best, maybe that was you? I have 8 albums that I shuffle and it seemed like I kept skipping the GT tracks. It helped to let it play all the way through.

 

Might have been me, I think I have talked about it before. It's definitely an album that should be listened to in one go. The only tracks I listen to separately a lot are Long Time (one of my favorite songs period) and Can't Stop This.

Yup, Long Time is one of the songs that made me look at the album again. Roots have those classic choruses on lockdown.

I know you asked ages ago but I think you can definitely listen to this album without hearing his other ones, though he has a really fucking good discography. There's a LOT though if you include mixtapes.
