Did anyone see Geoff Rickly chime in on the situation on Twitter? Haven't seen anyone post about it.

And not sure how I missed this...apparently Adam Lazzara's wife commented on Diaz's Facebook post when people started talking shit about Adam:

I remember on Diaz post, which brought all this news about Jesse out, someone commented about Adam not being any better. I think that person then clarified their comments as he was a serial cheater (not an abuser of minors), including cheating on his current wife. I saw those comments, but apparently I missed Misha's response.

Diaz's post is now private, but I just saw this screen shot on Twitter.

I think she's saying he's only been to that region once since he's known her..

I wonder about this too, did he ever go to trial?

    Maybe so, maybe not.

Actual Reddit just took down the accuser investigation megathread in the spinoff Brand New sub. Now they want to move to Voat.

    Me at work right now:

    Just to add to this:

The first accuser that came forward also chimed in, replying to Adam's wife that when she met Lacey back in 2002 and he asked his contact info, just afterwards Lacey left Adam and the rest of Taking Back Sunday members were the ones saying that she needed to leave the backstage area, because they realized that she was a teenager.

The way I see it, the way that Misha handled the situation couldn't be more classy. If Adam cheated on her or not like it was ventilated by someone that says it's friends with someone that hooked up with him, while that is shitty, it isn't the same as child abuse and grooming.

I can add that I personally hang out with Adam, John, Eddie, Shaun and Mark back in 2012 and they couldn't be more humble and down to earth people even if they tried. I know people from my own local scene of completely unknown that act more like rock stars than them. The idea and image that was ventilated in message boards back then about they been assholes with fans made me terrified of meeting them, and I feel like I need to say that with me and people here while in the South America Tour for the self-titled record, I end up hanging out with them for two full weeks. I hang out more with Adam, Eddie and John, John came with his wife, Adam's wife didn't make it and while I talked about a lot of stuff, Adam wouldn't stop talking about his wife and kids. Opportunity to do stuff with people there, and overage people mind you, existed, but none of the band members acted improperly while I was around them back then, and I was around a lot. That's at least my personal view of them, so there you go.

I chit-chatted with John Nolan back in 09 when he was doing solo shows and he was very nice and pleasant. It was with Mansions and that was a damn good show. Saw JL and Kevin Devine back in 07 also doing some solo sets and the only thing I heard about JL was that he had a beautiful, possibly leather man purse.

He also said he loved "shark week". NOW I WONDER WHY.

Oh, also I saw TBS back in 2011 when they played my college. I walked by them as I was trying to find the bathrooms (it was a brand new building) and I just said "Hey Taking Back Sunday", and they all went "Hey" all nonchalantly almost in tune with each other.

That's been my experience with the band as well. Very friendly, polite guys.

Yeah, I met John in an alley after the TAYF anniversary shows and you could tell he didn’t wanna talk but he toughed through it. I stayed off to the side but he ended up coming up and thanking me for coming.

He’s way shorter than I thought, Lol.

It's to this day one of the most surreal experiences of my life. I'm not one to ask for autographs or even pictures with bands I'm a fan of. That picture is after the last show in Santiago, Chile. Met them for the first time two weeks earlier in São Paulo. I don't expect them to take the time to hang out with every fan of them out there and tour life is grueling, but getting to drink with my heroes and just talk about life was an opportunity that I didn't take lightly. Adam gave me some personal life advice that I followed and helped me a lot, as much as their music has helped me. He also gave me cups of Jim Beam from their stash that night and goddamn that's a good whiskey.

I'm sure 9 times out of 10, interactions between band members and fans will be pleasant and enjoyable. Most interactions are brief, so fans walk away thinking how great the experience was. There's no way to possibly tell what kind of person someone is in that brief moment. Honestly I try to avoid those situations. I've had ample opportunities to walk up to band members (or even athletes) and engage in conversation with them, but more times than not I just choose to keep to myself. Not because I'm shy, but like, these people get thousands of fans walking up to them every single day.

I've had great experiences with some musicians (most notably Andy Hull, Silverstein) where I try to avoid any talk about their music to avoid sounding like a total fanboy and actually just try to have just a normal conversation like you would meeting anyone else. I don't know, I try not to put people up on a pedestal just because they're known musicians.

That said, I've heard nothing but great things about the guys in TBS. Two of my best friends live in Charlotte, 5 minutes away from Adam and John and they see them around town quite a bit and they always say they're just like, normal residents.

I saw John Nolan and Geoff Rickly at a solo show on Mother's Day in 2013 and it was uncomfortably dead so they - along with Eddie Reyes (who lives just 45 minutes away from Cleveland) were walking around and talking to fans and hanging out. Seemed liked good dudes in that very moment.

Using your personal experience to rationalize a band member being a good person is a weird and slippery slope to go down, and is honestly a bad look. I'm glad you've had positive experiences with band members, but that doesn't mean they are this incredible person that could do no wrong.

Was that in response to my post?...Because this is kind of what I was saying. No way you could possibly tell if someone is a good person or not in the brief moment you meet/talk to them.

I was just saying John Nolan was really nice to me. Sorry for looking bad?

Edit: I see what you're referring to. Yeah, I mean, in that instance I agree. I wouldn't take it as far as having a definitive stance. He is shorter than I thought he would be though.

It's more-so the post that says "I can add that I personally hang out with Adam, John, Eddie, Shaun and Mark back in 2012 and they couldn't be more humble and down to earth people even if they tried."

With everything that is going on, it's just a weird time to be saying how nice band members can be to you when you meet them. 99% of the time of course they're going to be friendly to a fan. They have nothing to gain from being a dick and everything to lose from not being nice.
