2 and 9 months. At least the IPad and Mickey Mouse Club House will keep the 2 year old distracted for awhile.

You must live on the east side of Texas huh?

Yeah. Austin to El paso. Takes 8 hours by myself, with kids it's taken up to 12 hours! It's ridiculous.

Haha same here. Prescott was an easy 8 hour drive, back when I flew solo.

@Kennedy I liked that album a lot more than the one song I had heard prior. Reminds me a bit of Manchester Orchestra mixed with something else, I'm not quite sure. I can't fully judge it cause I was distracted while listening, but I'll keep it in rotation for sure and probably have a better formulated opinion after some time

So I'm beating myself up right now because I saw The American-Rejects when I was 10 for my first concert and I just found out the opener was The Format... I didn't discover them until 2014 but the thought of 10 year old me not appreciating them makes me so sad

That sucks. I wish I could have seen the format before they broke up.

The whole reason the town exists, is because it’s a vacation getaway for Phoenix. So it’s really not that bad...weather and scenery wise that is. The locals on the other hand are mostly mountain hicks.

Say anything and angels and airwaves doesn't sound so bad to me.

On a related note has say anything done anything worth listening to since "in defense of the genre"?

My first real concert was Creed at a medal ceremony at the olympics in Utah. My first unofficial concert would have been The Used when they were a local band and I was a young lad. The first good concert I went to was The Juliana Theory.

Emotion is Dead is my favorite but I thoroughly enjoy Love. I think that’s what they were touring when I saw them.
